Mid North Ladies Wellbeing Gala

Congratulations to Mid North Ladies Wellbeing Gala organisers Alisha Senior, Nikki McCracken and Bonnie Michael who recently won the Wakefield Regional Council Community Event of the Year for their event held in August. The event focused on bringing together local ladies, raising awareness to alike minded group of women to support one another in the midst of a global pandemic. I felt very honoured to be asked to present to the event about the power of positive thinking and resilience. The event was coordinated at a time when we were all emerging from a cold and lonely period of isolation, and the events timing gave all the guests a feeling of warmth and connection. I loved watching the guests excitement at having the opportunity to glam up for a uplifting purpose. Nikki, Bonnie and Alisha put so much thought and effort into the evening with so many intricate details which helped each and every guest to feel special and connected to the event. I felt very blessed to be part of the event in such a special way, and can’t think of more deserving winners of this award then Alisha, Nikki and Bonnie.
